Looking in the archives the forbidden books. Something had to be there that could be used to change her destiny.
To alter the present into a FUTURE that she wanted and NOT a PAST full of regrets?
Be careful what you wish for. No longer applied, the anger, her resentment had built up.
To such a level that coloured her world in shades of darkness.
Her father had helped create that.
The library the hidden forbidden section?
Marcy one of her friends, had been quick to point out that the library indeed did have a hidden section. One that you had to have the knowledge the incantation to break the barrier if not momentarily.
Under pressure Marcy had given in. She, had used the library hidden section, to find a book an old dusty ancient one that allowed her, to cast a love spell; over one of her most admired.
IT had worked and in truth, Malfoid had been a witness to AND surprised by the attraction of the male in question, who was completely under her ‘spell’. She laughed at how ironic that was.
Marcy was dismissed after revealing the incantation. NO more questions as to what Malfoid was seeking. True the section she had gained the love spell from was NOT as DARK as the one to be uncovered at the back of that section.
Illuminatus cured that. Allowing her to seek it out in semi darkness but light enough to see what she was doing and where she was going. Rows upon rows of books that were truly ancient.
The text for some was barely legible. Some were written in ancient texts that were also illegible to read deliberately so, concealed beneath a spell cast to prevent those forbidden from reading it.
Annoyed that however hard she looked it did not seem to give her what she wanted what her HEART desired. Then the lights dimmed.. As though a shadow had swept over her for her to be shoved forwards almost falling off the steps.
Hands fastened onto a book that her hand now grasped to pull out IT fell to drop to the floor and she carefully stepped down to pick it up. The book of Jin. What a fairytale genie in the lamp moment?
Jin she knew from legend could grant wishes. Here it was some kind of well as we would know it; almanac.
Some very interesting topics covered including spells and there it was.
A section on changing your PRESENT into a FUTURE YOUR HEART desired.
She had not seen the creature there but NOT there; in the shadows. Lurking there, used to the shadows?
Darkness was its home its repose its comfort. This creature had invaded its space yet it was smirking if we can call the smile that crossed its lips.
SO, this creature wanted to change her FUTURE to one she would within her conceit, her stupidity, believe could be better. HER in control and yet is smirked again. Destiny can be a fools companion.
Not able to take the book with her she tore; TORE the page out. The various items she would need she knew, were in her fathers antiquities. ALL of them she had seen, at one point in TIME or another.
Summoned by her father that moment she always dreaded. This time the usual savage retorts the rage a reflection of his anger towards the ministry for not allowing him to take control of the school.
She had to find out more about the headmaster, the one who he knew had no dirty secrets he could use against him. He instead would have her plant some evidence of his corruption. certain forbidden artefacts that would be discovered later, by those doing a random inspection.
For now.. get out I will wait for you to do that and if you do not, you WILL be punished. A beating. she knew all about that and were it not, for her mother on one occasion stopping him she would not have survived.
He did not know that part of the reason he, was FAILING at so many things, was the curse her mother had placed on him. One that grew stronger, every time he, did wretched things to his daughter.
Taking it out on ‘house servants’ mystical beings; was also a wsy he released his rage. Creatures that could not, dare not to retaliate. Death would be their punishment.
Now she had all of the artefacts the necessary information WHEN would be the perfect moment to ? Ah HALLOWEEN that ANCIENT ..
