Mounds within the grasslands the open areas around a forest. A thick dense forest.
NO clear explanation given yet there were many of them, At the base of them a path that led you around and ROUND was indeed a truth. 
From where YOU were walking; IF you continue to follow it YOU WOULD eventually return to where you had started.
WALKING across or upon OR over was forbidden. Some had strange ripples almost ridges.. STRATA, LAYERS?
The forest was huge, vast to quote the old adage, not able to see the forest for the trees was indeed apt.
Mavis was loathe to talk about it any further other than to add. Even if you use craft over that forest what lay within was shrouded by the foliage. Hence the deep darkness, no shadows.
Using the scootmobiles able of carrying up to 4 they scouted around it to the next ‘realm’.
1AA pronounced EEEEAAA kept short as Mavis now stood in front of her,
For Inexi, to note due curtesy as she had Tolgani bow, a quarter bow, not too deep stooping forwards a slight downwards movement of his chest and NO eye contact.
 “I am indeed priviledged. Mavis how good it is to see you though I suspect.
You are here to find out if the harvest of your favourite grapes, the dark lush ones, I hear you have an established order for. “
Looking at Tolgani.. and at Mavis.. “THIS is?”

Surprised as Tolgani soft of tongue guided by Inexi speaks.

I, am HONOURED in the presence of one who is clearly honest and genuine. I have no doubts who you favour as YOUR ‘CHOSEN’ will indeed be blessed within your warmth; with your beauty.
“OO another Immortai a little larger than my favourite Mavis?”
Some smiles, all, was VERY congenial; as he had made clear, genuine warmth and affection.
He liked her, almost instantly. “Come sit, rest. Those scoots are not the most comfortable to travel in.” She turned to the ones stood nearby clapped her hands
“Bring us some refreshments.” she paused “NOT forgetting some of the latest brewed re this Yu’s harvest.” The forest. Only the ‘foresters’ dared enter there and that was the end of that.
NO further answers.
As for those mounds Inexi had told him subconsciously NOT to be asking about them.
The determination NOT, to spoil the moment was on, it appeared their thoughts their intentions as they savoured the refreshments, Fresh game with the Vie (vino - wine)
Tasty and flushed down with the Vie left a glow upon the senses.
Relaxed, the conversation soon of course on the forthcoming Haloi.. “Have you a ‘CHOSEN’ in mind? She laughed. “I am not spoiled for choice. Two are indeed favoured and my Pia (parents though Progenesis born) are of course pleased.
I have taken my time, but the realm is in need of some male influence that carries with it within the investiture; power. TWO as one is always much better when it comes to rule.
My realm is mostly agriculture but the arts and all that goes with that is also something I treasure. Painting, writing and SONG.. the ones my people sing especially in celebration in the aie (bars, inns.)

Sure enough boarded with the ‘Cai’ safely stowed they were soon rising up. Slow steady and then sat on his shoulder Mav was with all present enjoying the sights below.
Calm, warm, some Sol.. (sunshine) it was totally an amazing experience. True; Tolgani had NOT ever ventured up in such a transport.
A Roke (a bird not unlike a pigeon) released to fall downwards circle and then drop to be received by those below.
That is custom and has been such since that time. NOTHING more said.
NO ONE, NOTHING dares enter this air space without sending a recognized signal, to those below that we are NOT of those, of them.
Now we wait for the reply.
A single rocket as we would know it, hisses into the air, to explode luckily some distance away but now a mass of colours..

Approaching the vast complex below. The sight of ? Cannons, a row of them across what we would call battlements. A fortress and yet the palacial area the square the main building itself was magnificent.
Surrounded by vast gardens, fountains.
You soon forgot those CANNONS, the FORTRESS.
