The sight of those who enter the realm, NOT as a PROVINCE as others refer to it is sometimes met with indifference.
 Well at first until the host recognizes Mavis.. A smile albeit brief but welcome non the less.
“It’s been a long time since you did me the honour of seeing an ancient one on my lands.
“That is welcomed” Mavis smiled.
My race is more to the North of your realm.
Some distance to traverse even with some of the more modern transporters.
Out of sight well slightly, stood to one side and not directly facing her as Tolgani turmed, he stopped stared; gasped. “NOOO way.. ! “ She glared back at him.
The rudeness was not intended but was never the less transparent. “Mavis. I expect YOUR companion to have some manners. Some grace and courtesy would not go amiss.”
Mavis was talking to Inexi.. SOO RUDE.. he has to apologise.. on his KNEES..
Inexi dropped him with him, muttering some expletives as his knees cracked against the stone..
Then a take over of sorts as Inexi performed the ritual of supplication.
“Alright you may tell him he may stand.. I accept his penance. “ Tolgani was now standing the look had been ‘managed’ to one of adoration which in part amused Mavis..
I’m a dumb ass, no offence intended re dumb asses.. I don’t remember anything, look upon his face.
If Mavis had been puzzled she was soon enlightened by Inexi and told to keep quiet about it.
THAT female they had met earlier in the beginning ? Was exactly, in looks, in build, in stature the same.. A doppelganger is an apt expression of this.
“Oh my” Mutters Mavis taking care NOT to be heard as they waited for food and drinks to be brought to the chamber. “So Mavis is this a routine visit or should I be worried.
YOUR guest, I will not insist on you explaining more, I accept some indifference occurred because IT is clearly NOT of this world.”
Mavis explained more. Some much appreciated enlightenment. With Haloi fast approaching she undertood that probably Raven had brought this stranger to the position of spying directly or indirectly on them all.
“Raven has no cause for concern. I have entered once again as a TREATS candidate along with some of others, within my realm ALL approved for and recognized as validated candidates.
I know the TRICKS have been increasing in numbers but not to the level I am given to believe of any real threat. “
The response, was one of denial of any subterfuge on their part. “What has given cause for concern so I have heard re Raven, is the zone within your realm, that has been, closed off.
A prohibited zone ?”
They were now sipping on fine wine and eating some of the food. IT was delicious. Fragrant pears that were to the taste buds an infusion of pure ectasy. 
Never had they experienced pears like these.
Another trading commodity that gave the realm huge profits..
“Some bizarre happenings in that region that I finally decided I would restrict access until after Haloi.
When Ems, can send in troopers to investigate further.
I have no reservations about her doing that but I do not want that to happen until after Haloi.”
My personal guard does not leave my side we know”
She paused looked at Tolgani and then back at Mavis..
“The history of the attack on my realm that saw my subjects attacked. Death and destruction.
That I will NEVER allow to happen again. “
She sighted and then hissed “ and NO Mavis you may not ask HOW the enemy were destroyed.
I know that some think you must know but I KNOW that is far from the truth.
Some things cannot be seen. are, exist; but do not exist.. For some such as the Realm of Dagora we are the keepers of powers; we do NOT share with not will intimate, we KNOW about to others who are not our OWN..
A while later they were back talking to Ems and relaying the information the underlying expressing of intentions re her sending troops in to the restricted area AFTER Haloi.
THAT she agreed was acceptable. It gave her some relief.
For Tolgani and of course Inexi the revelation that had raised earlier questions and assertions that had seen his knees bruised and now some swelling.. along with some cursing. A cold compress that Mavis now delivered help ease the pain; the swelling.
NO doubts at all that female looked exactly like her.. what was the name of the Princess.. of that realm ? They both realized they did not know.. Your Highness but NO NAME..
