A peaceful co existence. That seemed to be what the planet echoed. WHY had the Sanctified, the ethereal being, warned him not to be conned by appearances,. So far he had not seen anything, to have him uneasy.
Inexi had clarified some answers to that so called reasoning. YOU have not seen the planet or anywhere else beyond these walls. A lot of truth in that.
Pagan was NOT enthused about either of them showing him around the planet.. well the places that he was allowed . One could say a stalemate had ensured.
Then a female entered. Tiny was an understatement. Barely visible .. not transparent just SMALL. Mavis.. they hissed. Looking at them, some surprise on her face before she saw HIM.. well HIM as was.. IT.
“Who is this.” “Tolgani..” He leaned down feeling the crick in his neck.. “Mavis.. ! “
She shifted to rise, yes RISE into the air.. hovering now face to face.. as he resumed a normal upright position.
“Mavis is a Vafite. Tiny cos that is how her race is. One of the most ancient on this planet so she knows it well.” Pagan interrupted. 
“..and won’t be falling in love with him which makes her the perfect one to show him around. Introduce him to the others.
“Others.. “ On refection he sounded dumb. STUPID or what Inexi hisses.. Of course there are going to be well probably LOTS of others.
He nodded. which they. took to mean. he was happy to accept her as his guide.

Yes. he does and he snores.. Some laughter from Mavis.. Snoring? Inexi made some werd noises some grunting snorting to have Mavis dropping to fall about laughing.

Over 400 much older than any of these here, well bar you of course.. Older much older.
 So, will IT be sleeping on his craft or ? Whatever you suggest. I have a central domicile.
He can use, that, it will make traveling around and returning afterwards, for him to rest, much easier.
The regions or zones can be vast.
Lakes, mountains and cities.
Also taking that craft around would cause problems.
Bring unwanted attention from those, we surely would not wish to be doing so.
How long have got.. ? Enough before Haloi to visit most of the important ones.
Some I do not recommend, they are outright nasty, though not to me. They would not dare.
I have powers, protections. ancient ones, as you would know, none are willing to put that to the test.
There have been some new restricted zones enacted and those I am not going to visit either but they are WRONG something that is being investigated by others.

You WILL notice that ONLY females can be TRICKS or TREATS. The males are not permitted to partake. THEY have to wait until the hour is reached where beyond that the victors celebrate and the ‘CHOSEN’ males are given their TREATS.
The ‘CHOSEN’ male must present the female of his choosing or THEIR CHOOSING.; with a RED ROSE. That is the Qiverse way of ASKING for a UNION between them. IF the FEMALE takes the RED ROSE then the answer is YES . NOT is of course; NO.
THE outcome the CHOOSING is not so simple as to HIM and HER.. they must stand in the hall of the DIVINE and be scanned.. IF BOTH are at least 50 /50 they will PASS and go onto the CONSUMATION. Thus 60/50 90/60 whatever will pass.. 40/ 30/ WILL NOT.
IF that happens they may IF BOTH deeide invoke the SELECT to make the decision overriding the former, IF they can show LOVE, ADMIRATION, DETERMINATION to be as ONE then the ruling will stand as a PASS..
GREED, INDIFFERENCE as two examples will leave the former NULL pass as NULL.
Separation will be enforced upon strict oversight. It gives certain PROTECTIONS to ensure that BOTH parties are and will NOT be allowed to continue. Perfect example is IF one of the parties is deliberately trying to TRICK the other on the basis of false promises..

NOTHING like the Colonists. Prejudging them, realizing they existed AND were in some of the mountain areas especially the cave areas ? Let us remember the Colonists could not understand could read nor speak the language of the natives of the planet.
Costs, time constraints and the corporate conglomerate wanted NO delays on their investments. Thus the time for debate was short to the point and in the end brutal.
History was NOT going to record, archive the truth which was one of death and destruction.
The original inhabitants had primitive weapons to use against an armed more advanced race?
They lost territory, their breeding places their source of nutrients and of course eventually forced more and more into hostile environments.
Ultimately they could NOT survive. FEAR, the underlying TERROR that that generates, festers to leave them haplessly down the path to extinction; GENOCIDE.
The Gildateers exploring open caves blasted open by the mining teams found ancient statues of races from before..
Sacred sites that the previous inhabitants knew to leave alone. To pillage and plunder those sites was a sacrilege, IF the ones who put up those statues, created those holy sites returned?
There were some sacrificial sites. Huge stone slabs and bones of their sacrifices, blood across the stones where they had performed a ritual and killed their sacrificial.
Some signs they had not only killed their own but eaten them? Carnivors but also cannibals as you might know them, as the colonists their scientists knew.
There were stone tablets that warned those finding them NOT to trespass on this holy site.
Stone statues, the ones to start with for curiosity , museums and making money from telling stories note STORIES not FACTS based upon their own assumptions, assertions having those reading those works to believe it was THE TRUTH?
 Fleeing into the more mountainous higher caves, a network of caverns with escape routes should they be found..IN and an OUT ..

Some of the statues were solid Draxetnium (PURE GOLD) The weight was too much to carry it out.
They built smelting sheds to melt it down. Advanced mehods that took little time to do just that, All the while seeking more places more finds, mores destruction of original history, to loot, pillage to plunder.
Looted, mercilessly LOOTED. Alongside a new find of such Drax in particular the sacirificial stones ran with fresh blood. The greed the indifference, the destruction eventually hidden to time itself as the mining ripped the mountain apart.
The original inhabitants..? Their nunbers dropped dramatically; now realized the unfolding truth
