The meeting of the Elders, trying to get a meeting, was laborious. With the current events of Haloi in progress they were loathe, to entertain any outsiders, off worlders. 
Finally managing to get a meeting set up they started to arrive. At the great hall. A massive stone building that had stood there for not decades, not centuries but MILLENIA..
Sjo was one, of their oldest. He was from Dagora and Malfoid was his kith and kin.
Much had been going on that he was kept in the dark
about. Ems and others had no intent on telling any of the elders about the rumours the RUMOURS on some strange events that had taken place.
NOW in the great hall, the seating was taken up by some of the elders, others occupied by those who had been asked to attend.
Ems was of course there with one of her commanders; Jade. Next to them a small party headed by Malfoid. Jade was highly skilled in military warfare.
Ancient history and the great war that had almost brought chaos to their early colony.
Little she did not know about including one of the secrets that had kept for decades from the people.
The old temple with the wall showing painted images of those they had defeated.
A trophy wall and it had helped Ems AND Jade to secure high ranking military positions within the militia. NOT forgetting boosting their status as citizens.
Malfoid had learned from an early age to master the art of magics. Training from masters who had died, their dying had left her with a high degree ot skills and enough when they had encountered that ‘species’ north of thier world who were NOT going to be tolerating the colonists?
Striking hard at the small encampments they inhabited were savage, brutal and without mercy.
Ems had told them from the off that no mercy was to be spared re those beasts. Creatures of the DARKNESS.
Rumors already spread about how they were cannibals. Eating their own or was it? OUR flesh.
Bodies going missing of their own. THEY must be responsible. (Even IF those bodies turned up later at the bottom of a cave where there had been a Trexl explosion causing a cave in.)
The war,. the one that lasted for almost a century. Finally they had developed new weapons including a device that emitted intense irradiation experiments on those creatures showed they were highly vulnerable and went CRAZY..
Crazy enough to attack their settlements the colonist wiped out and showing they had reached the end of their tolerance towards the colonists, well the ones who had so far survived not being picked off by them
Eventually they managed to use the ultra high frequency sonic cannon to force the beasts to retreat to the mountains. higher ground. Out of sight but not out of mind. The obsession by some was all too clear. TO find them and eliminate them.
The few that remained were forced into a cave complex. Thinking, well knowing there was an exit that the colonists knew nothing about? Ems had had those who did the original surveying of the planet to tell them all.
 All about the topography. An absolute gift as now they blocked off all exits.. Trapped the beasts in the cave complex before using another weapon one that irradiated the entire cave complex using the crytal silicate in the rock to do so.
IT worked. Not long before those in the caves were killing themselves. Mass slaughter and the eradication of this pestilence, the evil soon accomplished. IT would be decades later they finally went into find the mass grave.
The excrement as it was called was carefully processed into sludge bar the bones and moved to pits. The mounds where NO ONE was allowed to walk on or to cross.
Pathways existed for them to walk around the mounds a kind of remembrance of the victory over the beasts.
The temple had that plaque which helped to stop those who were furious that that race had been exterminated on the whim of a minority and NOT as they were quick to point out; majority.
The elders too came under a lot of criticism over it all. Malfoid had got away with what she had done using magics to close off the cave entrances.
A flick of the wand and the destruction, the sealing in of the beast was complete.
The MASS MURDER as it was called by some was a problem. The ugly statuette face plate in the main temple told those who regularly worshipped there that that WAS what those creatures looked like.
Most had never seen the creatures so believed that to be what they said it was. No disputing it was dammed UGLY.. Mutants.. they called them NOT the beasts.. but MUTANTS. followed by good riddance. Praising those who had brought about their eradication.
WHO were the ones they were sat in the Great hall waiting for? NO one knew. Ems spies could also tell them nothing. Then the huge doors slowly opened. As the strangers moved in to the centre of the hall.
The shock the true horror on their faces said it all. Recollections by those who had seen the original beasts up close now shook with shock.
These were however different but that was not noticed as such with the original imprint on their subconscious after so long ? Impaired.
Apposi were very much like them bar the wings that were closed behind their backs..Visually their faces and even HANDS were not much different from their own.
BUT the Apossi were HYBRIDS and thus their form was subjective especially re appearance
Language was fluid, fluent. Understandable, coherent. Then the introductions over a few gifts given as a token of their peaceful intentions?
What they wanted was the return to their race of the lands to the north the ones they had originally owned?
Some murmuring especially from those who had taken over vast swathes of the north including settlements that were stone built strongholds. Ones that they suspected were strong enough to repel any would be assailants.
NO a direct response. NO debate, NOTHING cept they had no intentions of surrendering anything to those present. Ems had stepped forward Ems had positioned a contingent of the militia to the side who on her signal now stepped out of the shadows to make themselves known.
YOU will ALL be escorted OFF the planet under guard. YOU are NOT welcome here, WE will NOT be ceding any territory to you.. Oui stepped forward. The form was one of power and for good reason.
Some of those present knew this was one of the beasts the ones they had exterminated.
Ah yes, GENOCIDE. The likeness was all too familiar. Arms raised by those surrounding them. Oui was unmoved as she stepped forward into the centre.
 “We came in peace of good accord and yet as you have always been,. arrogant, aggressive with the belief that you are OUR masters..
A book thrown to the floor the pages as we would know them now unfurled to stop as she leaned forward to appear to read from it.

The ones that kept the archives, of the sins of the ones, who they denounced to be, the Nature of the BEAST..

The Human(a) who had taken 4 drops of blood to change their race forever, “YOU never change and THEY came to recognise
the Nature of the BEAST. for what it was.
The history tells us how they enter worlds, Seize them, steal, enslave and murder. as you did with our race Sealed them in a cave network, leaving them to die.. ?”
She turned to glare at Malfoid.
“You call us. beasts of DARKNESS.. but you and YOU especially, are some of the worst.
Everything that is recorded in the sacred book of Gianne is soo true. you truly do represent the NATURE of the BEAST.
Malfoid stepped forwards her wand now in her hand.. “Ah yes.. the one who used dark magics to seal the caves my race my people fled into. Sealed with no way out. to slowly die.. 
The wand swished as the tunic clasp on Oui flew off.
The audience she had started to laugh.
There was no response, no emotional RESPONSE.
Just that stare.. ice cold and resolute?
“You still think YOU, are the one with all the power?”
Malfoid stepped into the centre now opposite Oui.. “YOU do not want to test my skills I can promise you I still have enough to seal you lot in caves.
Perhaps the ones we sealed your kind in originally.
Oui leaned in the outline of her wings now becoming visible they fluttered. “Really? Do you think my kind are stupid weak, dumb primitives for YOU, to be allowed to use your PRIMITIVE DARK MAGICS on. “
She raised her arm, one of those sat behind Malfoid, a guard moved raising their weapon .
A force now lifted him in full view of them all to fling him back against the stone column.
Slammed so hard his head was jerked upwards and almost torn off.
Gasps as now Malfoid turned, to see the body slumped against the stone base,
Malfoid now moved to face Oui again, Raising her wand to strike when she stopped stared past her at the figure moving out of the shadows.. The noise from those also now aware drowned out anything that Malfoid was trying to say.
IT CANNOT BE. The elders looked at Malfoid and hen looked at Malfoid.. the two of them were identical.. HAD she been secretly cloned..
Cloning facilities did exist. Oiu had shifted to move back to join Malfoid and the others.
“We will be back to hear your answer that YOU WILL return to us our lands. Next time we will NOT be so accommodating,”
“YOU think YOU can match your CLONE; against my pure magics.”
Wand raised, pointed the stranger the ‘clone’ WORDS barely spoken before the other had raised theirs and said the words.. The wand, twisted upwards, before being taken out of her hand, to fly upwards into the air, before hitting the floor.
“I have taken the wand.. taken its power from you.
IT will NO longer work for YOU. “
PRAY that that, is ALL I take from you.
The stranger turned away as the book at her feet folded, closed up and then vanished.
The sound of Oui’s voice repeating the words again.” Next time we, will NOT be so accommodating.. YOU should take heed, of the one, who comes after us.. a warning.
They left the doors closing behind them. The place went quiet a deathly hush.
Subdued was as good as it could get re the mood. Then the doors were flung open and in rushed almost running cept he had little desire to collapse; he did.
Refreshed he was sat up. “Commander Atof..“
