On their way back to the now Royal quarters, Cistera could not stop laughing, Nathan was not amused. “Are you in for a surprise my love.” She continued laughing then stopped, she had been thinking? “Hmm, Soniette, better keep her away from you ! Its owner, she knew from what she had been told, a multi zillionaire. Reputation for being clever, cunning, brave, loyal and most of all very desirable. She liked to tease, to be openly provocative and aggressive, when it came to her sexual appetite. Her race was polygamous so multiple partners were allowed for joining purposes.
She was allowed by her fathers consent, three males of which she already had two, but was looking for a third ! Cistera had surprised her with her news! Especially as he was a Humana, not that she had ever partaken of a Humana so how could she judge ? But they were not popular amongst her race and the odd activity, betweeen female of her race and a Humana colonist male was unthinkable!
Still, she was intrigued. Whilst they had been at the Akademy Cistera had been adamant that she would only join with a male who would respect her, would be loyal, trustworthy and most of all understand if not appreciate her gifts ! Under Fendiq law that male had to be from the Royal household, usually one of the Aristocracy Courtesans. Nathan was neither !
That will go down well with some, she thought. Cistera was headstrong, once she had made up her mind she would seldom change it, something Soniette liked about her. At the Akademy they had spent time studying and sharing a domicile together.
That, originally, had not been of their choosing! However, despite their intrepidations, their suspicions of each other, they had grown, had become close friends. Finally a strong bond had been forged between them. They had made a pact that Cistera might call upon Soniette for help and vice versa, for any reason should future events require it.
Her father had sent her to find Cistera, Lelanora had made it clear that if he persisted in his questions, he would be refused landing rights on Fendiq. His persistent questions had been thanks to his daughter Soniette continuously pushing him to find out WHY she had not heard from Cistera since leaving the Akademy! Lelanora made it clear that she and she alone was her protectorate! Cistera’s well being was of her concern, any interference given Cistera’s sudden ill health might was out of the question.
After finding out about her presence on the Raptor, Soniette was not surprised! A visit to the temple that morning? What had the Priestess told her? Exactly where to find Cistera, well in so many words, fairly clear on that! Also that a new star would ascend to light the night and she must honour the pact she had made with Cistera!
Soniette had been more than convinced ! How did the Priestess know where she could find Cistera was a good beginning. They were being transported across to the Chevan, a little less imposing much smaller and less sophisticated. At the entrance there she was ! “Cistera !! “ “ Soniette !! “ Both composed themselves, aware of others around them and quickly headed for the temporary Royal Quarters.
Nathan had been talking to Cistera about Soniette, she was loathe to tell him too much, save some good advice as she put it “ To kiss a Princess of the house of Bexes is the kiss of death” but would tell him nothing else !
