The Amorcanda Falls.
On Cartres, Cistera and Soniette, the Kevletlings, had all settled into their new residences. Taking over Noge’s residence, near the falls, “It is so beautiful here ! I can understand why you and Noge love
being here ! “ On the walls were pictures created by new technology, which made them seem totally realistic. They could be touched, felt and admired for their perfect detail.
Various places around the universe and poetry, lines of poetry ! Yes they all agreed they were going to enjoy the time they had, before the Kets were born ! As for Queen Velicia? It is said that she is the most beautiful woman in the Psemon Empire, the first time Noge set eyes upon her was with Nathan, visiting the famous water falls of Amorcanda.
Noge never forgot their encounter, which is, some say the reason why he never joined with any other female.What happened that time is still embedded in Noge’s brain along with all the rest of the galaxies technological advances, weaponry and tactical knowledge. Apart from his astute dislike of the Jogarth and the Uwerq and a love of Iridian Ale !

The Psemon Empire had long aspired to a time of prosperity and peace, it enjoyed and still does enjoy good trading with other systems, has rich resources and can command attention when it wants. That changed when the Jogarth invaded Sendiq and part of the planet in territory so the Jogarth said was ‘Rightfully theirs ‘ became annexed to them, under an agreement that they would not trespass further.
Of course the Psemon Empire, at that time, under the absolute sovereignty of Cotralli, the then King and father of Princes Psemon, Deimon, Volcaris not forgetting, his only daughter Velicia. King Cotralli had an intense dislike of the Jogarth. They were reserved when it came to the Psemon Empire, they knew it had the resources and troops, equipment and more to bloody their noses with no fear of any reprisal from them.
It was NOT considered a sign of weakness when he opted for peace.To heighten his defensive capabilities and also enemy incursion detection with early warning systems across the Empire, Cotralli had engaged Noge and Mizac. Renown and highly recommended.
They introduced him to Nathan the designer, builder of the first goks and the Bynards!
Nathan had agreed to help by testing their defensive capabilities. Though taking care to follow Noge and Mizacs warnings on what NOT to do if he desired to survive the outcomes!
Their main objectives, to establish a strong enough deterrent against perspective enemies and of course, the Jogarth! Noge used a unique substance only found on two planets within their system, in abundance, to power a defence grid, which spanned the outer edges of the system.
A matrix like system that monitored ALL vessels, tiny to the largest coming into Psemon space! Well in time for the Psemon defence forces to respond against any perspective hostiles! The Jogarth made their moves to seize more of the Psemon Empire? The grid was active? Retaliation was swift, to the point and devasting for the Jogarth who lost most of the force sent to seize territory.
The Jogarth sued for peace, they had no choice! The KalHeiron were quick to back up the Psemon forces. Not thousands but into millions! Never again would the Jogarth dare to create any disruption within the Psemon Empire. Thus, it could be said, those on Caltres were safe from them. Cistera and Soniette plus the others could bear their Kets and survive!
Noge had come up with other ideas and continued his research finally ending up on Psemon as his permanent home. King Cotralli decided that he wanted to thank Noge for his help and gave him a huge retreat, originally a ‘summer’ residence. on what is now Velicia’s sovereign planet Caltras, overlooking the water falls of Amorcanda. As has been pointed out, the view from his place is spectacular.

Caltras, when their father died, they gave it to her. Now Queen Velicia wanted a Palace and decided she wanted it near the Amorcanda falls?
Spying Noge’s place and not being aware of her father’s gift to him, she sent emissaries to see if he wanted to trade with her? Somewhere, just as fine and she could have his place, like for like, whereupon Noge embarassed her by telling her emissaries, it was not possible, as her father had gifted it to him and even if he could find somewhere as beautiful, he would not offend her father’s memory!
Also it would not be, the gift her father had given ? She continued to send emissaries but to no avail UNTIL one you could call it afternoon Earth time she visited the falls and he was there with Nathan. Now Royal protocol forbids those not priviledged to talk to a monarch, to keep their distance ?
In Velicia’s group of security was a Xexupa (Psemon Royal Escort Commander.) His name was Zaphren and he recognised Noge almost instantly! Thus he excused himself and went to talk to him! Returning to the ensemble, Queen Velicia was curious to know WHO had gleaned his attention?
When he told her she was furious! All this time as Queen of Caltras and they had not been introduced! The Royal Courtesans and Administrators would be hearing from her! She had made it clear from the beginning, taking over as Queen, that she wanted to know WHO was on the planet of importance that she should be aware of!
Jubei was one of her official advisors, a very knowledgeable individual and more than aware of her displeasure at discovering Noge! Her fury was being directed at him, his ears we could say,’burning’ with her tongue lashing! NOT at all the Queen he had come to love and admire!
It seemed to Jubei that some appeasement was applicable! However we can sympathise a little, if we note, that he had reservations, about her discovering, that it was Noge, who owned the very residence she had eyes on! The one, who had refused to sell her, the residence? Exchange it? ‘
