Soniette had been with Cistera talking for some time, she had finally confessed and introduced her to Canuweis, (Brage'sdaughter) Enuweis and Chacoa (Dasec's daughters) Cistera had met both of their mothers and she was pleased, but puzzled, to see them. It was Canuweis who let slip, about why they were there and how, it had all been a waste of time.
She was not a Kevletling, who liked the idea of coupling for the sake of reproducing more Kevletlings at all, she had managed to stop certain changes, from taking place that Enuweis and ChaCoa had not?
They were both fertile(When a Kevletling is receptive to being sprayed by a male) whereas she was managing somehow, to prevent the chemical change taking place.
A way to keep perspective suitors at bay. Soniette also told Cistera how she had caught Lehroem and Roengar her ‘Chosen two’ coupling with Enuweis and Chacoa taking great pleasure in spraying them and impregnating them
Such an act was illegal and punishable by death, she had to be present and they had violated the two Kevletlings ignoring Canuweis, pretty as she was to pursue their pleasures. She had discovered when they did NOT become pregnant, that the seed they had impregnated was sterile.
This was another problem re sireing Kets ! Not uncommon across the galaxies for various reasons, some families became STERILE, unable to reproduce ! A planet who ended up with this problem could resolve its population problems in various ways.
Galweis had implemented a cloning program and they were regarded as THE authority on cloning !
It helped produce a healthy, if not very similar race of beings, but after time, healthy and prosperous.
Soniette had been furious, realizing they could NEVER, sire Kets, despite the so called med reports stating otherwise! Trickery on their part, with their intentions being to secure her lands, her titles, her assets and not HER when it came to that!
She and her family had been lied to and cheated, dissolving the partnership between them. She warned them never, to come face to face with her, or any of her family again. They would be executed. Cistera listened intently then dismissed the Kevletlings under escort back to the Bexes Flagship, they continued talking.
