Loik was a Solus3 (Earth) former defence forces ‘ Marine.’ Their mission was to seek out the hidden bases of the Mermui.
They had known that the Reptilians had underground secret caverns. Ones that had their own ecology systems.
The structures, tunnels with massive stone walls. 
From MILLIONS of years before this primitive race had taken over the land surfaces. Some of the earlier ones were lit by methane channels delivering flickering lamps.
Quite deep but, penetrating radar had found some of the ones she was now stood at the entrance to.
To terminate, any they encountered on sight. No mercy, was to be shown, to this species, that had attacked; destroyed, on several occasions, not only the rigs, but some of the research bases.
A short distance from the Oceans edge..
Atlantic bases included, some of the Isle of Wight but also Guernsey established bases.
Ancient former Nazi ones, constructed by prisoners of war, enslaved, forced to build the massive constructs.
ones that has been modernized. revamped. reinforced even further with plasma cannon arrays.
Even now, regular training, marching and traditions respected, upheld. A full time complement of military. Ones that the Orians had tried to deliver a dose of the ‘Pite’ to and failed.

NOTHING they had matched those things. The threat of their fleet being destroyed, was something they, were not willing to put to the test. The attacks on the Human(a) had seen those creatures attack with weapons that were beyond theirs.
More powerful, potent; destructive. Only a thin mask of dust remained as though instantly cremated.
It had been clear that there was no direct threat. Until the Arcan had restored the ‘Celestial Clock’, powered up the
Portei Semperu to send those Reptilians through, they would do little to take over these primitives as their new masters.
New Chembots had been designed to be capable of delivering the ‘Pite’ on a massive scale. 
Once released, they would see the end of all resistance, well virtually ALL. Subjugation, enslavement; processing for FOOD.
The numbers were obscene.
Each time, their leaders thought upon the situation, they all came to the same agreement. Almost inexhaustible food stocks..
Kepha was another one of those ‘Marines’ a short distance behind her. Now venturing into the tunnels the weapon she carried primed and ready to be deployed with immediate effect IF that occurred. The hewn out walls were huge.
Terrifying, in how not only the height but the length and breadth of these tunnels were; but that they were and had been proven to be centuries old.
Millenia to the Reptilians. They had, come across some similar ones that were former Lava tubes.. These were not.
The gas was also problematic but these were strange.
The concentration of substances such as Methane were slight.
Nitrogen, Oxygen and other minor gases existed.
Sulphur was also noticeable that particular stink.
At least these did not have, sulphuric acid streaming down the walls. Some ancient chambers, particularly deep subterranean ones could be lethal.
Early evolution left them behind. Back when Solus 3 (Earth) was in its ‘primordial soup’ stage.
Bacteria and other SULPHURIC acid creatures? The cave area she was in, Kepha had realized was typical of many they had encountered and this was beneath the recently uncovered Toltec site
A lot of the South American sites as was.. were proving to be a veritable treasure trove, not only of precious metals and stones, but of undisturbed ‘ burial sites’. that updated the archives and delivered some eye opening dating of the sites.
These were found to be built over the original structures.
What lay within them, was far more of a conundrum. Many did not have answers to who the original dwellers were.
The build was extraordinary. Polygonal walls with some stone slabs weighing over 200 tonnes.
Set in to them, were what looked like door ways.. going nowhere.
HERE was not the only place these so called doorways existed. The Aztecuan too had them. In some remote above ground as well as below ground? Portals.. the natives had the legend of them, being doorways to other worlds.
HOW they were activated was an unknown.
Strange beings would appear and disappear through them. The hand bag symbols and the strange rosette.. were often found in a lot of the early Sumerian sites.. thought Turkish sites too had them and those sites were even earlier than a lot of the South American sites..
WHO were the Hu ica? This area was showing signs and symbols most of the Jagwa.. the sacred Jaguar.. cult!
Not ancient, they were modern day cult fanatics. Ones who instilled terror and demanded the right to loot, to pillage to plunder at will apart from slavery and sometimes worse?
