Virtually indestructible, brawn. Long term that posed a problem IF they suddenly went rogue.. destruction.
The Murmui had realized how toxic the oceans were becoming. The means to deliver some much needed retribution against the Annunaki ?
The SYMBIOTIC forms were now taking over the more primitive slaves, Millions, yes MILLIONS of years of soIus (Earth) as was had seen the evolution of that species. Early very EARLY forms of the actual Murmui.
The ones who evolution created after them became superior and sought to eradicate the SYMBIOTICS..
Using early technologies such as the more primitive Portei Semperu they, had sent the bulk of such creatures off to another world keeping only a few left here. ON the new world well beyond the Milky Way but still part of that galaxy; the SYMBIOTICS flourished.
Their hatred of the former Murmui who had exiled them ? Inner rage could not easily be dismissed. Such fury as to grow their forces using the former slave forms. Armies of them sent out to conquer worlds around them always seeking to find the exact location of Solus!
For now where they were to be found in the Milky Way galaxy that was too much of an expanse to accurately identify exactly the location of that accursed place. Not even the in situ Portei Semperu the Murmui had established on that planet could be used. 
Ancient technology. Too advanced even for the SYMBIOTICS to understand; to use. Taking over species as they ventured further into the Qiverse..
Those such as the Grui. who had advanced their abilities with the so called beings known to some as the ‘greys’.
Enslaved to be those who served the ‘Greys’.
The SYMBIOTICS using their forces to invade a single PLANETARY SYSTEM called OIRU 4 far edges of the Milky Way..
ALL fell to their dominance. their control.
The ‘Greys’ were implanted to ensure obedience, subservience as masters in their own right but serving the SYMBIOTICS.
Spreading out to take over other systems. Using the ‘Greys’ and their armies their foot soldiers from the other worlds they took over. Early fodder to the cannons of those who fought back.
The moment they appeared, the surrender of your world was not a request it was a demand. OR else.
That part of the QIverse was constantly at war or should we say WARS.
Some races could be easily defeated, others had the advanced technologies, the means to destroy the aggressors.
Toxic gases and other emollients proved fatal to the SYMBIOTICS. They retreated until they had the means to return to strike back and that could be the destruction of that race. Total annihilation, one could say; an extinction event.
It seemed they were unstoppable. BUT. That fated moment in time they attacked Hori33x
A protected planet.. Protected by those known as the A terra. Ancient beings.
Then they realized forces existed beyond their comprehension.
The so called GODS they professed to be; angered by their pretensions struck back.
Portei Semperu appearing on planets the SYMBIOTIC forces attempted to invade.
The speed of transfer of their forces from one point in time to another across the Qiverse; was one might say in the ‘blink on an eye’.
NO mercy was shown to the SYMBIOTICS forces. The ‘Greys’ and their bases were attacked, destroyed.
The once mighty aggressors found their forces fighting to an end of days.. until they decided to exit that system.. running away .. as far as they could..
OUT of that system.. no longer deemed by the A terra to be a threat, they could still take over other systems.
However, they had not forgotten just as they had not diminished their hatred their rage, the fury for the ones who had cast them out.. the Murmui.. SOLUS (Earth).
Now these A terra were also on their most hated, the ones they would seek to find some means to take over.
To destroy, enslave. Gain their technologies the means to use the Portei Semperu?
Time.. it would take TIME..
All of the A terra planets were within a set system. True the Portei Semperu on other worlds were still functioning to allow travel between them. Trading, protections and security. They flourished. Technologies advanced to allow them to re design their Portei Semperu.
From the 3 headed Gods.. to the new arches.. Simple small to the massive superstructures. Ones that allowed their craft and or life forms through. Programmable, well the original Portei Semperu were programmable but these were far more advanced.
Ten yes TEN parameters. An almost infinite number of destinations with the construction of one archway to another network arrays within given systems. Sometimes they helped to remove the ‘Grey’s and their forces.. their control over a race; a planet, a system.
The only ones they A terra did not ever dare to exert force over were the planetary sytems the ones deemed to be the domains of or under the protection of the Gods.. the GODS of creation.
The Haphketsut. ‘Omini’ who enforced the justice system.
For them it was never problematic. They were not at war with nor ever would be at war with them.
The original Portei Semperu were the technology created by and used by those such as the Gods to traverse whole worlds. planets.. systems.
The Archways were in direct replacement of the original 3 headed Gods.. and yes they originally represented the image of a God.
Now these metallic structures had no such imaging. IF a GOD was or became upset at such heresy or declared HERESY.. the archway could be destroyed..
Often it would simply vanish and be replaced by the three headed statue.. Portei Semperu.
The A terra would never dare to alter or replace it. You did not dare to offend them. whoever and therein lay the absolute.. WHOEVER it was shown as the image of.
At least it was often just the light outline of an archway that would be replaced. NOT the full on construction they would have spent a lot of resources on. The final finished product, had to be powered by, no substitutes allowed re the Arcan ‘Celestial clock’. An Arcan had to install it.. ‘ commission’ it.
Some restrictions were always to be found. NOT all of the Qiverse was open to such travel within it.
Protected worlds. systems. forbid travel between them. TO protect less advanced species or simply to ensure the races within them were secure and remained under the control of their GOD or GODS.
We need to remember that the systems the A terra were in and of course any others such as the SYMBIOTICS, their forces, the ‘Greys’ were tiny in comparison to the QIVERSE.. One might even say SPECKS.. in the vastness of all that was the QIVERSE.. 
Technologies advanced for some to the space travel to the space stations. HUGE interstellar structures.
Some of them built within their own ‘Archways.. ‘
Their own Portei Semperu.. which might beggar the question as to some of the advantages ?
The A terra had the means to use the entire structure, yes the ENTIRE SPACE STATION, all of its INHABITANTS could move from one point in space to another..
Exist here, exist there; ANYWHERE, EVERYWHERE. Entire cities as we might know them, capable of interstellar travel and yes that did include normal SPACE TRAVEL..
From one planet to planetary system to whole systems.. .
MILLIONS of yars (years) to deliver to them the means to be GODS.. and therein lay their destiny, their greed, their well for some of them; their downfall.
The meeting of some of the A terra with those who sought to take the technologies from the A terra?

Unknown to ALL of the A terra traitors.. the SYMBIOTICS had learned how to take over their lifeforms.

Perfection.. as those traitors were now taken over in mind, body, spirit, their very SOULS..
Burning within them the hosts of those whose hatred, rage and fury was about to be released upon those who had fought back, dared to challenge their Gods?
NOW the worlds of the A terra fell before their armies.. Deception, treachery brought them to their knees.
Those ‘archways’ could be opened to allow the forces of their enemies through in their millions..
Those with the most knowledge, the ones who had designed, built the structures.. taken over..
Appointed to serve the SYMBIOTICS. in their BILLIONS systems fell at their feet.
Still a SPECK, against the fullness of the Qiverse. AND some of the A terra were NOT captured but fled into other systems well beyond those their enemy were taking over.
As the ‘Greys’ ventured into the Milky Way the far extremes.. they came across SOLUS? NO! SOLUS 2 (Earth). Taking specimens from the inhabitants to experiment upon.. NOT knowing that this place was the original homewold of the SYMBIOTICS.
Nor did their masters know that beneath the oceans.. lay the Murmui.. Mostly because the ones they took were still primitives life forms.
Venturing into this part of the Milky Way also had those such as the Annunaki destroying their craft.
Most craft were scout / research craft; NOT military heavily armed. Light years from the main ‘Greys’ fleet they were either destroyed or fled..
Any data, specimens they collected were experimented on, dissected and then stored data in their archives
IT would be centuries until a craft from the SYMBIOTIC overlords came across the data.. What transpired when they realized the significance of its now revealed truth? TO find Solus.. SOLUS 2..
BUT where was it.. the system it lay in had now been identified.. beyond the planets circulating a sun.. within a solar system.. The planetary alignment helped to narrow it down..
The data had allowed the knowledge that such a race could be taken over with some ease by the SYMBIOTICS..
MILLIONS that had been left behind by the Annunaki.. PRIMITIVES.. well in the wake of their former enemies, the ones who had exiled them.
The land dwellers would be enslaved.. their enemies would face their wrath. They would take a portion of those who dwelled on the land.. to another world to work for them.
The others would be used against the Murmui beneath the oceans..
REVENGE at last.. for the SYMBIOTICS..
