The Ancient race known as the Aztecuan had fled from Solus 2 (Earth) Sudden volcanic eruptions spewing gases into the atmosphere had rendered the planet on the verge of an extinction event.
When the Matsupa had with their Zealot hordes invaded they had taken over the planet for the most part being the most part. BUT. A third of of it had rebelled to the point the Matsupa AND the Aztecuan had no choice but to retreat; flee together.
Traces of the remaining race the Ai Terran and traces were all she could find of them. What had killed them off she was unsure; her senses were picking up on some typical recorded tales that spoke of the scourge that had infected their colony.
NO doubts in her mind and she was very intuitive, reliant on her instincts as a professional that had never let her down. TOO old, the organisms that had caused the scourge no longer active. Some mollusc's remained but again were typical of the type she had encountered before.
OLD very VERY old. Ancient origins. yet the revealed some data as to how old.. MILLIONS of years ago.
The colony structures were too advanced to be of the latter world it became. Colonists had not been seen here except as per Solus 3 (Earth) a few CENTI ago.
Those who had tried before had retreated when the scourge had killed off the would be scout party or it could be parties.
NO real established COLONY would exist without some scout force trying out their planned destination..
Climate, atmosphere, all of the usual fit for habitation to knowing what the planet had to offer but also what dangers lay ahead,.
Solus 3 (Earth) had not been inhabited for MILLIONS of years due to its volatile core that delivered massive earth quakes. plate movement tectonics.. From the molten hell to the frozen it was not the place that they wanted to live on.
Later on the Aztecuan had settled there 
Gods from the skies. The primitives had worshiped them, fell at their feet became their slaves. NOT that that was anything new re that place.
The Annunaki were some of the most prolific of slavers, miners, breeders.
WHOLE worlds could be strip mined.. above and below.
Oceans hid precious metals, rich resources, phosphates. Tri silicates. Fresh new and the crystaline embedded deposits generated huge bounties in creating, using inter connected networking.
The stones that were found across the planets surface above and below acted as a means to transmit energy on a phenomenal level.
She knew where there were Annunaki former mining there were or would be found rich deposits unless completely mined out..
Yes that did happen. Over the centuries the MILLIONS of years if we can call them YEARS.. sometimes those former depleted resources could end being replenished; refreshed.
This race she had discovered. the Ai Terran had knowledge of NEUTRON isomorphysis. NO one of their kind had ever given up the secrets of that,
YES it was known they were highly advanced race of beings.
Uncovering their secrets was not going to happen unless. Unless you found one of their worlds where an extinction event had occurred. Wiped out but leaving behind pieces of their technological advances. The problem with that hypothesis however was in knowing you had BITS and you had some PIECES.. but not the WHOLE.
Experimenting, attempting, to put those pieces together, could be downright dangerous.
NEUTRON or NETRON powered devices could be to the point capable of creating an extinction event in itself.
Fusive reactance they called it. A massive cascade on an atomic level, that would make any terrifying atomic bomb on Solus 3 (Earth) seem like firing a pea shooter.
