“Don’t you, go taking that tone of voice with me.“ Illia felt a stream of energy similar to bolts of lightning reach out towards him striking him. He screamed in pain? No. In rage. The energy died back. Illia was shaking. Unable it would seem, to stop for some minutes. “Threatening me, like that, won’t get you anywhere, except out there. Certainly, NOT in here!“ Illia growled again. “There’s plenty more where that came from if you want some more.“
Across the Morph flickered some blue flashes. Illia stepped back, he was no longer willing to put himself at risk. Anora pushed past him, to stand in front of the Morph. She leaned in rubbed its nose. It morphed back to the smiley round face it had been. “Ignore him he’s always rude. You think you have problems?! He’s my brother. So how about letting us in?” “Oh alright if you insist, though don’t blame me if you preferred it out there to in here, it’s not my fault.“ It paused.
“An I’m not doing anything until HE apologizes!” Fre was grinning. Illia’s face the obvious displeasure on it! “As if that is going to happen.“ He refused! To the point of threatening him, all of them ganged up on him. At first he mumbled, which was declared unacceptable.
The morph was not settling for anything other than a loud clear apology. Illia knew he had no choice. He apologized! “Well I suppose that will do! The only way I will get any rest, let alone peace around here, is to let you in. Right! Keep the noise down!“ The voice tailed off, the Morph vanished. A hatch slid open, to reveal a room. At the centre the arm, out of the floor. The hand and in its palm, the Crystal. The hatch behind them, vanished!
There was apparently NO exit. Becci’s gems tingled, glowed. She hissed at them. “Whatever you do. DON’T move!” They all stopped, ahead of them a shape was forming, gradually becoming solid in form until they could clearly see it and if they had been able to, touch it. “At last. We meet.“ The creature Becci reasoned was female. What, wondered Ameryst had the thing in its hands? Several almost transparent cubes, that had varying colors shimmering through them.
“What is it? What are those things its holding?” No one seemed to know. The female looked at Becci, staring at her? Becci was acutely aware of the attention she was getting, feeling very uneasy. Seconds later they heard Becci enlighten them. “It’s talking to me, must be a telepath, I can read it’s thoughts!“ “What’s it saying and WHAT are those things in it’s hands?!“ Bjoi was impatient! He had seen the Crystal, remembered that that, was particularly relevant? Grab it? Destroy it!
He went to move towards it. Suddenly, he vanished. “What have you done with him!“ Becci consoled them. “He’s joined the other Kets she dispatched earlier. They’re safe. None have been harmed.“ “Tell them not to try anything so stupid again! Remain where you are.“ Becci told them. They stayed put. “Those cubes she’s holding? They are “Time dispersion cubes.“ Becci scowled. “No wonder the Jogarth were targeted, Isabellani is the reason it’s here. A Gaisek!” Fre gasped. Ameryst interrupted. But they're.."
Elsewhere. Corky and Koiji were now finishing the last level, winning. Against the system and between them, they had beaten it. The system was now going to present them with their reward, in the main control area?. As they formed in that place, they found themselves behind the Gaisek! Now the Gaisek more than aware of their presence, had turned and in an instant, they were no longer behind it, but with the other Kets stood in front of it. Fury in it’s eyes.
Here were those, who had brought into the system, the stupid Humana game, that it hated with a vengeance. Ping Pong. It felt it wanted to inflict pain on them. The Gaisek, must have had second thoughts on harming them. Becci sensed its intentions as her gems glowed. It had to conserve it’s energy, unknown to them, for the cubes. A lot of power would be needed to achieve what it had set out to do!
The Gaisek was more than aware of her bio gem implants. “Attempt to use them Fendiq brat and I will, kill you all. To the top of her was this thing. It looked like a blob on the ceiling but it was certainly not there for decoration. “Naibaaka.“ Hisses Torvan. “He’s right.“ Narya had been watching it. From it some tentacles moved then settled back against it.
“Those tentacles spit out a sticky residue that contains a toxin that will paralyse you, so it can swallow you and slowly digest you!” Delise interrupted them. “Now that’s what I call a pet. I wonder where she got one of those. Not seen any in the Akademy.”
"Were you thinking of getting one then. I could ask her if you like." Fre turned to glare at them. "When you both have finished?!" Corky had not been thinking about the creature above the female.
Becci had been talking to him. Gaisek? He remembered the story Cistera had once told him, regarding Princess Isabellani and the Ket. A GAISEK. “I want the Jogarth Kets, the rest of you, I will release, BUT THEY, must remain! Try to stop me and I WILL, set the creature on you.“ Her tone of voice left them in no doubts that they had to surrender the Jogarth Kets or face the consequences of refusing. “Make your minds up! Time is something you have little of.”
