Prince Iophan raised his head, their eyes met. Serenia, showed no signs of emotion, of any recognition on her part? Becci noted that there was NO, surprise look on Corky’s face? It seemed he knew who this stranger was! “Well, it has been a long long time, Prince Iophan of the Arahi, since I have had, the pleasure of an Arahi in my company.“ “How do you know me?” “Since the days, when I stood on the battlefield, with your father King Enefon, who’s Queen Carawen, was the sister of my best friend, Prince Fruc, of the Tengari.

How is your consort, Gharow, who I suspect is behind this.“ Corky sat down and Margise, brought him a drink, he listened to the story, of the battle and the death of King Enefon. “I will talk, to your mother and Gharow in the morning. I have heard good things, about you, but I agree you are not wise enough yet, to step into your father’s shoes, though I am sure, we can do something about that. But before I do anything more here, I must consult. I will, have to tell the council of your arrival.

HOWEVER you will be my guest. I AM allowed guests. He glanced at Margise “You are lucky you had Becci with you, otherwise there could have been serious consequences with you being here on your own with Prince Iophan." Corky was aware that there were those on the Elite council who were strict when it came to upholding traditional, Royal or Imperium Protocols, rules of conduct. They would have relished this! Margise would probably have been disciplined or thrown out as a tutor.

They were still suspicious of his presence there. They had bowed to the various factions to show him and Serenia hospitality. He suspected if they had the chance, they would throw him out. He actually liked that idea! Nope! Too much at risk re the Kets, especially the ones from Fendiq and Bexes. But other Kets from places across the galaxies had also gained his respect and love. Trouble with you, is you're getting soft in your old age!

Prince Iophan stood up, moved to take his leave of them. He stepped over to Becci and Margise. “Thank you for helping me. I am honored to have met you Princess Becci and I hope, our two Royal houses may become closer after this.“ Marigse realised, by the tone of his voice, Becci had been right! Becci was a Pure blood, Princess. She was not.

He reached his hand out, to gently grip her arm, shifting in close to her. Whispering in her ear. “It seems Margise that we are of a similar age and we share a love in common. He pulled out a Tersa bar. Slipped it into the palm of her hand, closing her fingers around it.

“I never go anywhere, without the things I love, close to me. I hope that will hold true, when it comes to sharing time with you, where and when that may be possible, I promise you, if you, so desire.“ He turned, glanced at Becci. “I am sure, Princess Becci will not mind being present, WHEN Lady Margise and I choose to meet up again. So that any protocols, may be observed. However before I go, this is one exception, I am more than willing to break with protocol for. For someone so special, so beautiful and more I believe, than just a friend.“ The light touch of his lips, against hers, brushing skin on skin, moist, yet firm. It lingered. No comment from Corky. Serenia smiled thinking to herself. 'Wise choice Prince Iophan.'

He stepped back, smiled. Walked over to Corky and Serenia who opened the door for them to leave. Margise? They had left closing the door behind them. Becci was grinning . Margise?. Fixed to the spot, that expression on her face. She stood up, walked around the room, sat back down. Loked at Becci. “Seems I was wrong. I owe Prince Iophan an apology.“ She placed Margise’s drink in front of her “Do you realize what the kiss meant?“ Margise remained stunned. Stirring momentarily to mumble. “Uh no.“ She ran her fingers along her lips, still feeling the tingle from his kiss.

“If he had kissed you on the cheek, its a sign of affection, on your hand of sincerity. On your lips.” She sucked in air through her lips, a howl?. Margise glared at her “I think you may be a Queen one day Margise.” Margise almost spilt her drink . She looked up at her. “Even I, won’t kiss full on the lips, unless he is, THE guy for me, my future Ka.”

Corky, was not happy with Prince Iophan. “You should not, have done that.“ He closed the hatch, showed him to a room. “This can be your chamber for now." He went to leave, as Prince Iophan stopped him.

“My father once told me, that finding the right female, is never easy, but you will know. The first time our eyes met? With Margise, even if she is just a lady, I knew. When she ate the Tersa bars? There was no forced display for my benefit of protocol or etiquette, just Margise being herself. Natural, free flowing and that is what I fell in love with. Fun as well as capable of being serious. Well educated and that I do know, from us talking!

Convinced me even more. She couldn’t take her eyes off me, as much as I could not, from her. I have a lot of work ahead, to succeed my father, but my people also need a Queen, as much as a King and I would, give them only the best. Kind in heart, fun, free thinking and yet as much a part of me, as I would be of her! What more could I ask for.

One who understands them, as people, to be able to stand at their level and for them to accept them as Gharow taught me, that real beauty, is more than skin deep. It is how she talks, how she smiles, how genuine she is and Margise? She is all of those things, I KNOW she is. If she thinks she is beneath me, she is wrong. I will find it challenging to rise to her level.”

“Margise had a lot of pain in her childhood, her father was Jogarth her mother a Fendiq “ “But I thought the Fendiq, hated the Jogarth?” “Well her mother, loved Margise’s father, Tovinak. He works for us, aboard the Fendiq flagship. A brilliant engineer. Margise as a child, saw her mother seized and sold as a slave to the Irowq, by I’m sad to say a Fendiq, who has since been punished.

No one where she is concerned could ever replace her mother. She was also worried about her father, he doted on her mother. Yet too young, to be dwelling in the past. So they made a pact to accept things. Move on. Tovinak has remarried Margise is much happier than I have seen her in a long time.

Princess Becci and Margise, are extremely close and Margise. I am sure she will do everything she can to make sure that what you seek is not in any way, shape or form, made easy for you. You will have to prove to her as much as Margise your intentions are both honorable and genuine. You are aware that Becci has the Biogem organic weapon. I would NOT upset Margise by making false promises you have no intention of keeping!"
