Becci was sipping her drink as Corky entered the Ovir. “Corky.“ Her face dropped as he whispered to Margise, Becci.looked at Anietta who suddenly stood up and excused herself. Corky gave Becci a hug. Left them to talk. She put her drink down and moved closer to Margise. “They’re moving you out, aren’t they?” Ameryst and Delise moved across to them, sat down.
“Have you heard?” She looked at Margise as Margise nodded. “Heard what?” Becci looked at them “Margise is being moved out.” “See I knew.“ Becci sat back, folded her arms. “Fesh has been really nasty with some of the things she’s been saying and as for Xugan.“ Becci glared at them both, she stood up. “Where is she?” Margise sat her down. “Going after them won't change things. We knew this was going to happen eventually?! Didn't we?" Becci nodded, wiping back a tear.
She took Becci’s hand “Come on you! Help me pack, so my things can be moved across to the new domicile." Ameryst gave Becci a hug, looked at Margise. “We wanted to tell you Margi, just cos they don’t want us to, we will ALWAYS talk to you and be friends.“ Becci smiled. “That’s better.“ Ameryst and Delise watched them leave as they were joined by other Kets keen to hear the latest gossip.
Margise was soon opening the hatch to her new quarters, much larger and spacious, plus fully equipped with all the latest in technologies. “Wooo. Look at this control system, very sophisticated for coms. You’ve got over 100 channels plus Comsat plus Globenet and unrestricted Tmail. “Oh my.” The sound of Delise taking in all of that wonderful tech to drool over. Ameryst in tow. They were staring at the coms unit, Becci grinned at her. “NO WAY Ame.. And anyway you’ll get Margi into trouble.“ “She’s right.“ Delise nodded.
“They’ll know who’s been using the TMAIL adapt syncs. Every time you use them they scan your DNA. PLUS your tag is linked. They say they’re totally secure, but that’s a lie. If I wanted to I could bypass this quite easily.“ The door opened. Uanita with Cxan & Coleja. “Uan!” Uanita stood, turned her back on Delise. “Not talking to you. Going off without me..” She giggled, turning to see Delise looking serious? Upset?. She grabbed her, hugged her. They sat down. Well some on the floor. Has a digital display and a small screen that displays the drinks options. Someone had paid to have it charged with over 15 different exotics such as Xufe (coffee is close) with allsorts of extra’s, including Mui (Caramel is close) Muichu (Drinking chocolate is close.) Orow (mint is close.) Taire’ (A kind of pungent leaf tea.) and ordinary but popular, Prae tea. Corky's favorite tea. Over 500 in total before it needed re charging. Jsek!
They all seemed to relish the idea, of trying a few of the different ones, so were now programming their choices. Margi pulled out the cups that went with the machine. One of them had a Yert on it. (Pink elephant) She lifted it up, looked at it, grinned. Becci, was still looking a little upset. “This, is yours and YOURS alone, for when you come round.” Becci seemed to brighten up, she was smiling. They collected the drinks and Becci grabbed hers. Minutes later sat sipping on them.
“Any of you, can come over any time. No rules no regs cept.“ She looked at Delise. “Using RESTRICTED items, such as TMAIL. Discussing team activities or ideas. Coleja glanced round at the coms unit, it was flashing. “You’ve got some admirers already.” Becci stepped over to the coms unit, followed by the others. As she heard Margi whisper “I’m not sure how to use this.“ Delise rolled her eyes. “Margi!“ The others laughed.
“All those qualifications you have and clever as you are.“ "Uanita!" “Margi doesn’t know how to use Tmail.“ She looked at Delise. “Show her De.“ Delise pointed to a little icon on the screen. “See this.” Margi nodded. “Its a Bippy.“ She slid her finger across it and a little holographic unit, above the coms unit, lit up with a cute creature almost like a baby dinosaur, grinning at them. Clearly within the holographic sphere, to face them?
